| Unfortunately, Steve Janowiak and his wife could not make the reunion due to his intense training for the Louisville Ironman. My family and I were happy to cheer for him along the course throughout the day. He is an amazing athlete! This was his first of two Ironman races in one week in an effort to raise money for Aplastic Anemia, a bone marrow disease in which his wife, Joanna, is in remission! It was great to see him - and, yes, he's still that super nice and funny guy we all remember! I have posted a photo in the photo album. | |||

Hi Everybody, My wife Dalia and the kids are in Lebanon now for the entire summer visiting relatives and having a blast. The children are having fun playing with other kids and going to the beach everyday. Everyone is very nice. Their neighbor gave them 43 turtles and a goat to take care of while they were there. His cat had kittens and he gave the kids a kitten they named Princess. They will be taking it back to the U.S. Everyone won't be back until late August 18th. Dalia doesn't have a computer at her sister's house so I am written a message for them. Sorry she could be here to go to the reunion. Hope everyone is well and have fun at the reunion. | Hot Damn! 20 years feels like 50. I've been stuck in the mountains so long I am not sure I know how to get to Louisville anymore. When Jill (Greenwell) Frawley first called me about helping to plan our reunion, I couldn't believe it had been twenty years! A huge thank you to Jill and Mike Stone for even thinking about this and getting the ball rolling! As a commitee, we've really only been working on this for a short time and it's exciting to see how quickly the word is spreading and how many people have been contacted. Please keep spreading the word! As we each inform the friends that we are still in contact with, and they do the same, we will reach a lot of people. We've also been stratagizing some ways to locate and reach out to classmates that might not hear through "word of mouth." We could use eveyone's help in finding as many people as possible. We would also encourage you to be a part of our planning committee. Even our planning meetings have been like mini-reunions, and it's been a lot of fun to be a part of this. | I absolutely cannot wait to see everyone. We had 80's dress up day where I teach last week, and I actually found my senior t-shirt (a little more snug than the last time I wore it!). My daughter, who is in 6th grade at my school, wore my Drill Team jacket. She had big hair that day and wondered why we spent so much time on our hair everyday!
